Session Presentations:

Relying heavily on the FTA Construction Project Management Handbook, this 2 day workshop offered guidance to those taking on sizable construction projects despite limited prior experience.

Attendees were introduced to transit capital development and construction project management principles through all phases: project initiation and scoping, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, project funding, solicitation writing, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

Attendees learned how to: administer their projects via in-house staff or consultant contractors, complete projects on time and within budget, and comply with FTA requirements. See this Training Flyer for the more information.
